I'm tempted to use Deadly Dragons instead of Enhanced Mighty Dragons this time, because Deadly Dragons seems to offer more in-game customization. However, they're still rather predictable, and once you've grown enough in power it's just a matter of waiting for the dragon to land, running up to it, and hitting it until it's dead. I also like that you can make the dragons unleveled, so that they don't scale to your level. It's a great mod in the sense that it makes dragons much more diverse, both in terms of appearance and breath weapons, and definitely makes them much harder to kill. So far I only have experience with Enhanced Mighty Dragons. Both can potentially be used along with Dragon Combat Overhaul, which only (?) affects the dragon A.I./behaviour. I believe Deadly Dragons and Enhanced Mighty Dragons are mutually exclusive, in the sense that they both increase the raw power of dragons, such as their health, regeneration, damage output, etc. There seems to be three main alternatives: Deadly Dragons will completely overhaul the dragon fighting experience for Skyrim SE players who use it.I'm in the process of determining which mod(s) to use for enhancing dragon combat (to make them more challenging), and would appreciate some input. It also includes configurable Dragon Souls to perk points. In addition to more dragon types and assault features, players can also toggle NPCs as essential, saving them from potential deaths. Challenge yourself with intense dragon battlesĭeadly Dragons offers players a way to make dragon encounters feel extra challenging. The assault feature allows you to spawn more dragon fights in a variety of new lands of Skyrim. You may also mark safe zones, like player homes, that dragons can’t attack. This feature is an auxiliary dragon spawner that works on a set timer from the normal Skyrim spawner. Spawn dragons for assaultsĪnother feature of Deadly Dragons, found in the MCM menu, is called ‘ Assault’.

You can increase magic and breath damage, melee damage, armor value, and resistances all independently, and based upon your play style. Deadly Dragons allows you to adjust not just the health pool of dragons but the damage they deal. With the use of SkyUI’s MCM mod menu, you can customize the difficulty of dragon encounters. Loremonger Edition will allow you to use the other features of the mod without adding unique dragons. If you’re looking for a more lore-friendly experience, download the Loremonger Edition of this mod. Each new dragon has its own attacks and a unique appearance.

The higher level you are, the more impressive the dragon will be. This mod adds 14 new dragon types across the leveling experience. Skyrim’s base game included seven dragons.
